Releasing
When
you have completed your 7 days, gather all of your sheets of paper and prepare
to destroy them (releasing your negative emotions). On the eighth day take all
the sheets of paper and perform one of the following releases below;
1.
Take
a pot or steel container and look at all the sheet of paper. Notice how heavy
these papers feel. These papers reflect the weight of burden that you have been
carrying for many years. Take the papers and hold them above the container and
burn them with either a match, or white candle. Watch it burn for a second and
then put it in the container and watch it burn completely. While it is burning
visualize the smoke from the papers going up to the universe (heaven) to be
recycled into positive blessings for you. Dump the ashes outside on the ground
to be taken care of by Mother Earth. When you have finished, take a deep breath,
exhale and walk away.
2.
Take the sheets of
paper and go to a park or your backyard and dig a hole in the ground. Put
some dead leaves at the bottom of the hole to help with the fire. Take a match
or lighter and burn the leaves that are in the hole. When the flames consume
the leaves drop the papers into the hole and watch it burn. Visualize the
smoke going up into the universe (heaven) to be recycled into positive blessings
for you. When the flame dies and the papers are nothing but gray ashes, fill
the hole back up with soil, and place a flower over it. You may also say a
poem or resight your favorite helm. Stand up and take a deep breath while
looking up at the sky and exhale. Walk away from the grave of your negative
emotion and don’t look back.
3.
Take the sheets of
paper and place them into an envelope and address it to God (The Most High).
Go to someone that you trust who has a positive spiritual influence on you
and ask him or her to take this envelope of negative emotions and destroy
it for you. Ask this person to pray for you so that you may continue to be
strong and empowered. Hug this person, wish them peace and love, and thank
them for being such a good friend. Walk away and take a deep breath and exhale.
