Dear Dr. Akilah

For over 5 years I have had debilitating cramps. Before that, I didn't really have a problem. My fibroids hurt so bad that I was usually in bed for about 8 hours and soreness killers (even prescription strength) don't stop the pain (except to knock me out) even if I take triple the dosage.

I came to your office over 2 months ago for nutritional consultation concentrating on my fibroids and heavy menstrual flow. Now my last period is 60% better. I was barely in bed at all, and the soreness killers seemed to work. I wanted to wait and see one more period before I sent in my testimonial. But, to tell you the truth, the mere fact that I had an improvement at all was a miracle. So, I am in the middle of my second period (since seeing you) and I did not have to lay down at all. I didn't miss any classes. I have had virtually no soreness, and the protrusion in my stomach has gone down.

I don't know if this makes my story unique, but, I am a nutritionist and my list of attempts over the past 5 years to get rid of these fibroids and menstrual cramps were: acupuncture, exercise, swedish massage, chiropractic, therapy, supplementation, herbs, and diet. Nothing, and I mean nothing made a noticeable difference. Everyone would always say "have you tried _____?" And, I would go out and try it, but to no avail. I was constantly wasting my money.

I adjusted my diet many times (Raw food, Gluten Free, Type O, Food Combining, juice fasting) to try and help my fibroids and cramps, but nothing made a difference. I mean a good diet of course helps me feel better in general but no dietary change would actually affect my fibroids.

Looking back over my life, my menstrual cycles were often an area of concern. In my teen years, they stopped for 6 months on two different occasions, and I was always irregular. I am now 47. Ever since a loosing my baby at age 21, I've had reoccurring bouts with dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to fibroid tumors. On two occasions, I was close to needing a blood transfusion, so needless to say, fear would grip me at the first sign of heavy bleeding. Over the past 26 years, I've had so many, blood tests, sonograms, and ultra sounds. I even came close to having a hysterectomy. Birth control pills were the usual remedy, and sometimes Provera. I would eventually discontinue the pill and would be fine for several years. In more recent years, however, it was harder to get off of the pill, although I really wanted to. The next thing I know the doctor told me that I had multiple fibroids with the largest size being 14cm.

It took two to three months to be totally rid of the heavy-bleeding. My periods have become regular, as well. Although symptoms of breast tenderness and bloating worsened during those first few months, I am happy to say that is not a problem anymore. Best of all, I am loosing weight from my abdomen area. Before seeing you I looked 3 - 4 months pregnant. Now I am getting my flat tummy back slowly but surely.

It still amazes me that the solution was so simple. I recommend your site to practically every woman I meet. I am continuing to spread the word about you. Everything you have taught me I pass on to others so they can be just as informed as I am.

Have made some major changes in the food I eat and have been very faithful with your regimen from our consultation and I feel better now than I did when I was younger (I'm 45 now). I just had an ultra sound done and my fibroids have shrunk from 9 cm to 3cm. I am so happy that I could cry! You have no idea how long I've been looking for a woman like you.

Just a quick note to tell you that I am absolutely amazed by the difference your program has made with my body in two weeks! It is hard to believe that I could feel so different already.

I have been trying supplements of every kind and nothing has had such a dramatic effect. My abdomen used to be so sensitive that when my two-year-old daughter leaned on it I would yell in pain. I had even given up trying to 'suck it in' because it was just too sore and sensitive.

Now the soreness is nearly gone and the pooching in my stomach area is considerably less. I am also finding that the constant fatigue is going away. I am still tired at times but it is a more normal end-of-day exhaustion. I wake up feeling so much better than I used to.

I'm doing so much better. I started your program after being diagnosed with fibrocystic breast disease and fibroid tumors. I had 14 small benign cyst in both breast and 5 fibroids within the walls of my uterus. I strictly followed your program down to the letter. After being on your regimen for over the past 6 months I made another visit to my doctor. I am happy to report that all the cyst in my breast are completely gone. The 5 fibroids I had in my Uterus are down to only 2. The largest was 6cm and now it's down to 2cm

For years my fibroids tumors have been getting larger and larger. My cycles were crazy and imbalanced. I would suffer from heavy menstrual cramps, bloating, lower back pain, headaches and extremely heavy bleeding. After having two myomectomies my doctor insisted that I get a hysterectomy.
