Our Founder’s Story continued…
"You are not going to remove my cervix, I want to have children someday." I said sobbing. "So you're going to take the chemotherapy treatments?" he asked. "What? Are you crazy? That stuff makes you bald and very sick. Some people die from it anyway. No way! Y'all ain't going to shoot me up with that poison." I replied.
The doctor dropped my folder on the table, turned around to me with folded arms, and said in a sarcastic tone, "Well, Miss El. You do have one other choice. You can die."
The doctor explained to me the importance of making a decision quickly and how risk-free the procedures were, but I couldn't pay attention to what he was saying. I was too devastated and distraught to listen to him anymore. As a matter of fact, the only thing I did hear after that was, "Call me with your decision and make sure you see the receptionist on your way out." Suddenly, I was left alone in the examination room again.
That entire experience was the best thing that could have happened to me. Due to the way I was treated by the medical doctors, I decided to heal myself of cancer through alternative means. With the help of my mentor and friend, Valerie a.k.a. "The Black flower child", I cured myself naturally of cervical cancer within six (6) months.
